Though I’m tempted to hold on to this beautiful hand carved stoneware serving bowl, I feel that it needs to be out in the world. Carrying the energy of hope and resilience, this vessel and her sister (Legacy Two) were spared the waters of Hurricane Helene when I brought them home, unfinished, days before the storm carried everything else away. The raw clay underside blossoms upward into the glossy interior petals of blue, green and purple, reminiscent of the lotus rising from the mud.
